The Sister Connection
Each of us is a little different than the others, but we are connected at the heart!
The goal of the Sister Connection group is to
use the gifts and abilities God has given us to
build up the body of Christ through
shared activities, and participation in the ministry of Banks Lake Bible Church.
Our planning meetings are AS NEEDED. They will be posted on the calendar page.

* If you are wanting to share a need or participate in meeting a need,
below is a list of who to contact amongst us ladies:
Currently...
--> Debbie T. is our contact person for the prayer chain. If you have a prayer request or praise, please contact Debbie. She is expedient about keeping the body updated on prayer needs.
Rose K. and Bonnie V. will back up Debbie when she is unavailable.
--> Bonnie V. is our Sister's Connection coordinator responsible for facilitating meetings, she oversee's Women's Ministry and also assists with the prayer chain when Debbie is away. She is our "go to" person for Women's Ministry needs.
--> Merry M. is in charge of coordinating church refreshments for fellowship time. If you are interested in providing refreshments, please contact Merry and she will even provide a courtesy reminder for the week of sign up.
Sandy H. will serve as Merry's back up.
--> Pam W. has agreed to be the "point person" for those who are ill and may need a meal. This includes setting up a Meal Train so that we can organize what meals get taken to whom.
Heather W. will be the contact person when Pam is unavailable.
--> Sandy H. has the duties of Mission Secretary- She does a great job of coordinating our communication with the missionaries we support.
--> Rose K. carries out ministry to those from our body near and far by sending cards and keeping in the know regarding anniversaries, illness, birthdays etc. She also does a great job with decor in the fellowship room.
-->Heather W. formats a 1/2 sheet church bulletin and maintains the church webpage. Contact her for announcements so they can be added to the bulletin or church webpage/calendar.
Val K. is the fill in for the bulletin when Heather is absent.
-->Val K. is our pianist. (Pastor Bill usually chooses our music, so if you have a song request ask him.)
