The Bible: We believe in the plenary, verbal inspiration of the Scriptures and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice. It is not mythical or allegorical but is literal, historically and grammatically accurate. (2Timothy 3:16; 2Peter 1:20-21)
God: We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is infinitely sovereign, powerful, loving and just. (Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19-20; Luke 3:21; John 1:1-2; John 10:30; Hebrews 9:14; Revelation 1:8)
Jesus Christ: We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, our sole Mediator. We believe further in His pre-existence, His incarnation, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection from the grave, His lordship in the lives of all believers, and His personal, visible, imminent, pre-millenial return from heaven. (Isaiah 7:14; Micah 5:2; Matthew 1:23; John 1:14; John 20:10-31; Acts 1:11; 1Timothy 2:5-6)
The Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit, His personality and His activity in regeneration, that He indwells all believers, and that every Christian is commanded to be filled with the Holy Spirit. (1Corinthians 6:19; 2Corinthians 1:22; Ephesians 1:13-14; Ephesians 5:18)
Man: We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned in Adam, and that he is now a sinner by nature and by choice. (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 3:17; Romans 2:22-24, 5:12, 6:23; 1Timothy 2:13-14; James 3:9)
Salvation: We believe men receive salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, apart from human merit, works, or ceremonies, and that all true believers shall be kept forever by the power of God. (John 10:27-29; Romans 5:1-12; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1Peter 1:3-5)
Eternal Life: We believe that, in regard to the Church age, all will be resurrected; those who are saved to a pre-tribulation resurrection and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation after Christ's millennial reign. (Revelation 20:2-6, 20:11-15; John 5:25-29)
Fellowship: As born again believers and members of this local Church, we agree, with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love, (John 13:34; 1 Thess. 4:4-10) We believe in the sovereign autonomy of the local Church concerning faith and practice.
Ordinaces: A) We believe in baptism by immersion, after salvation, as an act of obedience to the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 9, Acts 2) B) We believe in observing the Lord's supper as a remembrance of Christ's death for us (1 Corinthians 11:17-26)
